Note: This week's lessons are due by Thursday evening, next week.

Unit 7 Test
Letter and Envelope
25 minutes

Note: You will need to know proofreaders' marks for this test, which is a rough draft letter with proofreaders' marks. Review 27E, Basic Proofreaders' Marks, pp. 68-69, and 29E, More Proofreaders' Marks, p. 76. You can also look up these marks in GDP's online Reference Manual, Contents tab, Proofreaders' Marks.

Never take an actual document processing test until you have successfully completed the practice document processing test! You will not be prepared.
  • You get only one chance at passing this test, so you want to be prepared. Bring your books with you.
  • You must take your test this week or next week with a late penalty. If you take your next week due to an unexcused or unannounced absence, an automatic 10% late penalty will be taken. For example, if you earned an A+ but the test was late, your grade would be lowered automatically to a B+.
  • Remember that your technique must be acceptable in order to pass the class.
