Weeks 15/16

Computer Keyboarding 1 Online

Lessons 52-60

Check your Assignment Sheet (below Lesson 60) for the date, time, and place of your final timed writings.
bulletThe deadline to resubmit all proofreading check documents, assigned documents, and document processing tests is the end of the day on Sunday just before finals week begins.
bullet On final exam day (see your Assignment Sheet, below Lesson 60), only final timings will be given—absolutely no document testing will be given. Missing document tests will earn a zero.
bulletThe best way to improve your grade at this point is to work on skillbuilding to increase your speed and accuracy so that you will do well on your final timings. Follow the instructions under the "3-min. timings" column on your Assignment Sheet beginning with Lesson 45. It could make the difference between a pass and a fail.
bulletIf you want to come in this week to take your final timings early instead of coming in on the day of the final, you may. If you cannot meet on the day the final is scheduled, it is your responsibility to schedule a time with Linda Motonaga, David Janvelyan, or David Coleman ONE WEEK BEFORE FINALS WEEK to complete your testing for your final timed writings.
bullet As previously explained, Incomplete Grades are reserved for special emergency circumstances only.
In this last week, you will be focusing your efforts entirely on skillbuilding. Below are the goals for speed on a 3-minute timing with 3 errors or fewer:

bullet

A = 40+ w.p.m.

bullet

B = 35-39

bullet

C = 30-34

bullet

D = 25-29

bullet

F = 24 or below
