1.    Timed writings and Practice Test 5:

a.    12:45 p.m.--In GDP, enter the “Morimoto 3 Tests” class for CAOT 3.  Your name should be listed; if not, notify your instructor immediately.  Ask your instructor for the password.  Click on the “Tests Only” radio button above the Lesson number selection box; and then go to Test 5; be sure to click on “5-Minute Timing” and not 5-Minute Timing A.  Turn to page 392 in your textbook and take the 5-minute timing three times. If you arrive to class late, you won't be able to take the timing three times.

b.    Exit GDP and wait for specific instructions from your instructor. At approximately 1:05 p.m., we will review the the merge process and how to format an academic style report and then begin Practice Test 5.  You will have one hour's time to complete the merge letter project and an academic report, neither of which is in your textbook.  Type from the handouts in your folder and save the files to your own data disk.  We will review the formatting of your practice test documents.  If you are unsure whether your document(s) are correctly formatted, print a copy of the file(s) and show it to your instructor.  If you completed both projects within an hour's time and your documents are formatted correctly, you are prepared for the production test next week.  If not, repeat the practice test until you are able to complete the documents properly formatted within one hour's time.  Immediately after the practice test, please continue with today's assignments listed below.

2.    In Word, do Report 96-67 (an affidavit) and Letter 96-94 (a letter using legal office style formatting--if the Modified Block Style is used, paragraphs should be tabbed 1" and not the usual .5").

3.    In GDP, do Lesson 96 ABCDEF.  Click on "Portfolio" and print a report of all skillbuilding lessons completed this week.

ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!
