1.  Pick up your folder as usual, and remove and then review the corrected printouts from your folder. For homework, outside of class, edit any "unmailables."

2.    Return Test 5 and discuss results.  Do NOT leave the classroom with either your test printouts or your instructor's test papers.  Doing so will result in an "F" grade since test grades are not recorded until after the test papers have been returned.  They are the property of the CAOT Department and are not yours to keep!

3.    Today's assignments:

a.    In GDP, do Lessons 105 ABC EF (skip D), 106 ABCD, and 107 ABCDE.  Pay special attention to keeping your eyes on the copy (do not glance down at your hands nor up at your computer monitor) so that you can type at an even continuous pace and with rhythm.

b.    Exit GDP and in Word, do "D. Composing a Memo, p. 408.  Address the memo to your instructor, from you, use the current date, and provide an appropriate subject line.  Follow the suggestions given for each paragraph, which means there will be three paragraphs in your memo.  You will receive two grades--one for correct format and the other for content (what you say in the body paragraphs).

c.    Next do Cover Page 106-76, using the Word Art feature where appropriate.  Special instructions:  Add your name on a separate line above the date.  When you have completed the document, save your file onto your instructor's disk so that it can be printed in color.

d.     Retrieve your color printout of Cover Page 106-76 from your instructor and label the document with the exercise number in the upper right corner.

e.     That's it for today--enjoy the remainder of your day!
