Lesson 15—Importing and Exporting

This lesson explains differences between importing and exporting data. Importing refers to bringing information into the Excel program from another program. Exporting means that Excel data may be viewed and used in another program. Once data is in an Excel spreadsheet, it can be manipulated in the same manner as any other data entered into an Excel spreadsheet.

This Lesson will cover the basics:

·       Import data into Excel.

·        Import data from other data sources.

·        Export Excel data.
