"...I
would like to see any power in this world destroy this race, this small
tribe of unimportant people, whose history is ended, where wars have been
fought and lost, whose structure has crumbled, whose literature is unread,
whose music is unheard and prayers not answered...Go ahead, destroy this
race!... Destroy Armenia! See if you can do it. Send them from their homes
into the desert. Let them have neither bread nor water. Burn their homes
and churches. Then, see if they will not laugh again, see if they will not
sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the
world, see if they will not create a New Armenia!"
William
Saroyan

This
Web Site is dedicated to remembrance of the victims of the 1880-1915
Armenian Genocide prepared by Ottoman Empire.
This day is considered as the most solemn
National holiday for all Armenians around the world. One
and a half million
Armenians were murdered and
massacred by Turkish Government in the first such act in modern history.

My Web site has informational purpose, and it
highlights some important circumstances of Armenian Genocide , because what
makes it unique among 20th century genocides above all else is that it is
ignored and unrecognized. Turkey still denies that the Genocide ever occurred,
and I hope that people can see through the pages provided in this
Web site that the capacity for human hatred and destruction is beyond belief.
Our mission, as Armenians, is to inform the world about this tragedy, because
the Armenian Genocide should not be forgotten but recognized.

For
the last several years, on April 24, the Armenian Student Association organizes
a protest March For Justice in Little Armenia, Hollywood, CA. More than
50,000 people participate in this March walking on streets with posters and
placates with slogans such as
"Genocide never again".
